About the Role

As the Supervisor, Digital Reporting, you’ll supervise the performance of Digital Reporters within your assigned service area, supporting your Area Manager, Digital Reporting in delivering service excellence. You’ll manage expectations for Digital Reporters’ work product and quality against Esquire’s digital reporter scorecard, and serve as a coach and trainer on digital reporting best practices, technologies, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the successful onboarding of new Digital Reporters, including equipment shipment, setting expectations and ways of working, and completing onboarding plans and 30-60-90-day reviews
  • Coach digital reporters and deliver ongoing performance feedback
  • Support Digital Reporters through The Court Reporting Academy and Esquire’s Apprenticeship Program
  • Deliver training for digital reporters on skills, policies, compliance, products, and services
  • Maintain NetSuite vendor profiles, and monitor and approve time cards and expenses for assigned digital reporters
  • Build strong relationships between digital reporters and stakeholders, including local field offices and transcription teams, and communicate reporter availability to local field teams
  • Resolve quality concerns and conduct regular quality performance evaluations against established performance expectations for record capture
  • Participate in the performance review process, including documenting performance issues and partnering with Human Resources on disciplinary action when needed
What You’ll Need
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and organizational skills, with a superior client-service mentality and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to planning work and meeting deadlines
  • Experience: One year of experience working in the legal services industry preferred
  • Technical: Working knowledge of the MS Office Suite and the ability to learn Esquire’s technology platforms
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college experience or a college degree preferred
  • Coaching & Training: Knowledge of adult training principles and methods, with the ability to coach performance and support process improvement under pressure
  • Other Requirements: Knowledge of court procedures, legal documents, and legal terminology

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college experience or college degree preferred

  • One year of experience working in the legal services industry preferred.
