Position Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our QA team supporting Client Digital applications. This individual will support quality assurance efforts across initiatives and ongoing application enhancements, partnering closely with Developers, Solutions Engineers, and QA Engineers to deliver high-quality client-facing digital solutions.

This role has a strong focus on test automation and is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated tests across API, web-based, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will bring a foundation in quality assurance and test automation and an interest in developing a deeper understanding of Client Digital applications and client workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, maintain, and troubleshoot automated tests for Client Digital web, mobile, and API-based applications.
  • Design and execute SQL queries to validate data, calculations, and system integrations.
  • Analyze requirements and user stories to identify test scenarios and opportunities for automation.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineers, Developers, and QA Engineers to clarify requirements, identify gaps, and ensure appropriate functional and business scenario coverage.
  • Build and maintain automated regression coverage for critical Client Digital functionality and client workflows.
  • Work within established test automation frameworks and contribute reusable automation components and improvements.
  • Investigate automated test failures to identify application, test data, environment, or automation issues and work with appropriate team members toward resolution.
  • Follow established coding, automation, and source-control practices and participate in functional and regression testing as needed to support application quality and release readiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and relevant experience.
  • Quality Assurance and software testing experience with hands-on experience developing and executing automated tests.
  • Experience with API and UI test automation for web-based and/or mobile applications.
  • Strong SQL and database testing skills, including the ability to write and troubleshoot queries.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, test design, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, verbal, and written communication skills.

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and technologies such as Playwright, ReadyAPI/SoapUI, Bruno and JMeter
  • Experience using TypeScript and/or JavaScript for test automation; experience with Groovy, C#, or other programming/scripting languages is beneficial.
  • Experience testing REST APIs; exposure to GraphQL and SOAP services is beneficial.
  • Experience with GitHub or similar source-control platforms.
  • Understanding of reusable automation practices and creating reliable, maintainable automated tests.

The base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $175,000 per year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. In addition, this position may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, and other compensation programs as applicable. Eligible employees may participate in a 401(k) program with a generous profit-sharing contribution, medical, prescription dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; disability coverage; paid holidays; vacation; and sick time, subject to plan terms and Company policies.
