We are actively expanding our digital capabilities and are seeking customer-focused, adaptable professionals who want to help shape how digital capabilities create value for our customers. As a Digital Product Specialist, you will translate digital capabilities into practical customer outcomes – partnering with customers, Sales, and Aftermarket teams to drive adoption, remove friction, and strengthen relationships.

Position Summary:
The Digital Product Specialist serves as a consultative digital partner who helps customers realize meaningful business value from Cleveland Brothers’ portfolio of Caterpillar digital products and services. By understanding customer needs and partnering across the business, the Specialist applies digital capabilities to practical challenges, drives adoption, and strengthens customer relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Customer Digital Experience: Guide customers from access and enablement through adoption and ongoing use, removing friction and helping them realize greater value from digital capabilities.
  • Digital Solution Application: Understand customer goals, workflows, and challenges; recommend and coordinate digital capabilities best suited to the desired outcome.
  • Customer & Business Partnership: Partner across Sales and Aftermarket to identify digital opportunities, enrich customer context, coordinate action, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • B2B eCommerce & Digital Procurement: Increase digital purchasing participation by identifying customer opportunities, enabling access, and removing adoption barriers across eCommerce and digital procurement channels.
  • Digital Channel Engagement: Manage and interpret customer requests, digital activity, adoption signals, and platform feedback; convert them into timely actions, enriched handoffs, customer outcomes, and decision-ready insight.
  • Digital Product Readiness & Fluency: Maintain current working knowledge of the evolving digital portfolio, customer use cases, internal systems, and processes; support UAT, release readiness, customer-impact validation, and feedback on emerging capabilities.
  • Training & Digital Enablement:
  • Knowledge & Continuous Improvement: Build reusable knowledge assets, SOPs, best practices, and customer guidance while improving workflows and processes that increase team and organizational capability.

 

Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
  • Experience: 2+ years of customer-facing experience in digital enablement, customer success, eCommerce, business development, or a related consultative technology environment preferred. 
  • Customer & Business Acumen: Ability to understand customer objectives and workflows, ask effective discovery questions, and apply the right digital capabilities to address customer challenges.
  • Digital Aptitude: Strong aptitude for learning and applying digital products, technologies, and evolving capabilities to customer and business needs. Experience with telematics, mobile applications, SaaS, B2B eCommerce, or related digital platforms is beneficial.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts, build trust, and coordinate effectively across customers and cross-functional teams.

Pay Range

$57,000 - $70,000 / year

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
