Operating at the intersection of Medical Affairs, Data Digital &Technology, Compliance, and external partners, the role requires strong product judgment, technical fluency, and executive-level stakeholder management to ensure reliability, audit readiness, and a scalable user experience.
ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Lead structured intake, triage, and prioritization to drive transparent decisions across competing demands and capacity constraints.
- Shape next-generation capability planning (e.g., API-based architectures, automation, and AI-enabled use cases) while protecting compliance and platform integrity.
- Maintain a multi-year evolution roadmap balancing operational excellence, modernization, measurable value realization, and user experience.
2. Platform / Product Ownership & Agile Delivery
- Act as the accountable Product Owner for iEnvision, overseeing day-to-day product operations across high-usage modules supporting grants & donations, research, and scientific publications.
- Own and prioritize the global backlog and coordinate delivery across upgrades, enhancements, maintenance, and integrations (e.g., SAP, EDB/Databricks, MDM, FTP/API pipelines).
- Coordinate RUN and lifecycle management activities (incident/problem/change, release and environment readiness) across internal teams and external vendors to ensure stable operations and predictable delivery.
- Own release planning, UAT coordination, hypercare, and post-release stabilization to ensure dependable delivery and minimal downtime.
- Establish and execute test strategy across functional, integration, regression and UAT cycles; coordinate test data, defect triage, and sign-offs with business owners and technology partners.
3. Compliance, Governance & Risk Management
- Design and run governance forums to assess demand, size and prioritize work, manage risks, and align stakeholders on the “vital few.”
- Maintain audit readiness and support validation and audit activities by maintaining SDLC documentation, change records, and evidence packages.
- Partner with Legal and Ethics & Compliance to embed governance requirements into system workflows and strengthen role/permission hygiene and evidence trails.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, traceability, and control mechanisms are maintained, and champion secure-by-design practices across platform changes.
- Demonstrate strong cyber, privacy and technology risk awareness by partnering with security and risk teams, supporting control implementation, and proactively mitigating operational and regulatory risk.
4. Operational Excellence & Platform Health
- Oversee day-to-day platform health, stability, and performance; serve as system SME with hands-on understanding of integrations, data flows, file transfers, and error management.
- Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including executive-level engagement, delivery accountability, and service performance.
- Champion platform reliability, scalability, compliance, and secure handling of funding-related data; partner with engineering and operations teams to resolve complex, cross-system issues and proactively mitigate risk.
- Monitor system usage, operational KPIs, performance trends, process efficiency, and user satisfaction to continuously improve platform health.
5. Business Value & Adoption
- Define, baseline, and track operational and adoption KPIs (e.g., cycle time, on-time reviews/throughput, adoption by role, performance trends) and use insights to steer roadmap priorities.
- Plan and coordinate end-user and admin training for releases (training needs assessment, materials, communications, completion tracking), ensuring readiness across regions and stakeholder groups.
- Own change management strategy for platform upgrades and new capabilities; create scalable enablement assets (guides, videos, walkthroughs) and drive continuous improvement in workflow automation and reporting.
- Strengthen platform compliance and audit readiness by championing reliable operating processes, role/permission hygiene, and evidence trails; socialize product updates to enhance stakeholder adoption.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead recurring working sessions and executive updates with global Medical, Digital, and Compliance stakeholders; serve as the primary product liaison and facilitate decision-making.
- Provide clear communication on roadmap, release updates, and operational performance; translate complex platform topics into concise, decision-ready narratives that build confidence and alignment.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment across DD&T, Medical Operations, Compliance, and external partners/vendors to ensure stable operations and predictable delivery.
