As The Digital Product Operations, SR Mgr develops and implements processes, tools, and metrics that enable our Digital Squads to work efficiently and effectively. Works cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Design, and Data Analytics teams to create a high performing organization. Responsibilities will include process improvement, change management, performance management/Agile coaching, and program management. Plays a critical role in driving efficiencies through the use of data driven metrics – all in service of making our members’ health journeys easier.

What You Bring to Cambia: 

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Digital Product Operational Excellence Lead would have at least 15 years of experience

  • Certification in SAFe is required

  • Additional certification in at least one of the following is preferred: LEAN, Kaizen, Six Sigma, PMP, PROSCI or GE CAP. Master’s degree is preferred.


Skills and Attributes (Not limited to):

  • Demonstrated experience managing a program & delivering quantifiable results.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing requirements.

  • Experience managing initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, resource planning and budgeting/forecasting.

  • Ability to function in a rapidly changing environment and make decisions with limited information.

  • Excellent project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment.

  • Ability to use data supported metrics to identify process improvement initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaboratively identify problems with key partners, and achieve partner buy-in and participation.

  • Demonstrated curiosity to tackle hard business problems using data and analytics to develop meaningful, practical solutions.

  • Proven leadership experience in effectively teaching, coaching and transferring knowledge to both leadership and line level employees.

  • Experience in working with technical terminology and teams

  • Experience with product development tools and the Atlassian suite of products.

  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau or similar.

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional process improvement, end-to-end business automation projects, or change management initiatives, preferably in a technical organization.


What You Will Do at Cambia (Not limited to):

  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes that support the product development lifecycle, including intake, planning, prioritization, and launch

  • Leverage SAFe/Agile expertise and stakeholder input to identify areas for operational improvements and implement changes that increase effectiveness and efficiency

  • Establish, implement, and coach to standard work for key roles across Digital Squads, i.e. Product Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Lead Engineer.

  • Serve as Release Train Engineer for the Member Experience ART.

  • Drive improvements through the use of a consistent set of key metrics, collaborating with Digital Analytics to develop data visualization and reporting tools that support product decision-making.

  • Deploy solutions for short (quick hits), medium (process changes), and long-term (organizational transformation) across division to ensure consistent, efficient operations at scale

  • Develop and implement methodology for tracking capacity and continuously improve ability to deliver more value within capacity constraints

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement tools that support product development, such as JIRA features optimization or enhancement through plug-ins and integrations.

  • Drive understanding of educational and training needs related to SAFe Agile Transformation, stretching to influence key stakeholders outside of the Digital team where necessary

  • Lead special projects in support of product operations, such as process audits, tool evaluations, and metric development.

  • Ensure effective communication and management of transitions

  • Define the methodology for prioritization of projects/initiatives

  • Deliver presentations regarding Agile Transformation progress and recommendations to Senior Leadership

  • Lead significant cross-divisional operational improvements that result in measured cost savings or innovations

  • Define service levels and performance measurements.

  • Coach, train and mentor team members.

  • Develop and manage to an operational continuous improvement portfolio.

  • Deliver and own operational excellence results.

The expected hiring range for a Digital Product Operations, SR Manager is $120k–165k, depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location. The bonus target for this position is 15%. The current full salary range for the Digital Product Operations, SR Mgr is $112k Low/ $141k MRP / $184k High
