We're looking for a Digital Print Field Technician who thrives on hands-on technical work, loves solving challenges, and is excited about travel and innovation.
What You’ll DoAs a Digital Print Field Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of digital transformation in print. You’ll install, service, troubleshoot, and support high-speed digital printers integrated with corrugating machinery at customer sites—ensuring consistent, high-quality output and smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and troubleshoot high-speed, large-format digital printing systems within corrugator environments.
Handle color management tasks like calibration, profiling, and correction for optimal color accuracy.
Prepare and optimize digital files for print—layout, imposition, and prepress quality checks.
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning to maximize uptime and print performance.
Monitor and manage inventory of inks, printheads, and other critical supplies.
Work directly with design, production, and customer teams to meet project goals.
Technical or trade school background, Associate degree, or equivalent experience.
Electrical aptitude with the ability to interpret schematics.
75% travel availability (domestic & international) – flexibility is key.
Experience with PLCs, servo systems, drive technology, or digital printheads (AGFA preferred) is a big plus.
Comfortable working independently and representing BHS Corrugated with professionalism at customer sites.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Siemens S7, TIA Portal, E-Plan, or Bosch Rexroth IndraWorks DS is a bonus.
Able to lift 30 lbs, work on ladders, and operate in varying temperature environments.
