The Digital Platforms Director is responsible for directing and overseeing a digital banking team focused on digital products, digital delivery, mobile banking, digital platforms, and all related services. This includes remote deposit capture, lockbox, mobile remote deposit capture, webpay digital payment channel, electronic overdraft services, electronic statements, and other services as they become available. The Director also plans, organizes, and controls the Bank’s strategic and tactical digital delivery activities, collaborates with all institutional stakeholders, and coordinates deliverables in a secure, stable, nimble environment, commensurate with the best interests of customers and employees. Responsible for translating business priorities into digital strategy by collaborating with executive leaders with the end goal of deploying innovative solutions. Other duties as assigned. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

·       Direct digital platform projects by developing plans, schedules, and budgets, assigning project resources, reporting progress, and communicating project status to stakeholders.

·       Mentor and collaborate with digital platforms engineer(s), product manager, and other IT department professionals on issues surrounding reliable performance of applications.

·       Understand all aspects of the internal and external environment including customer met/unmet digital needs through research efforts and in-depth understanding of industry trends, vendor/platform capabilities and best practices for servicing the digital needs of our customers.

·       Present data, strategies, and recommendations to executive management to build partnership for strategic recommendations.

·       Understand and manage application health.

·       Monitor and analyze channel activity reporting and monitor anticipated activity. Identify trends, offer insights, and translate activity findings into recommendations and action plans that enable and support decision making.

·       Serve as, or supply, primary business point of contact for implementation activities and work closely across LOBs and departments with key constituents to meet scheduled milestones.

·       Prioritize product requirements and coordinate release plans with IT and key constituents.

·       Implement documentation and change management protocols, using industry best practices and standards, to ensure system uptime, performance, and effectiveness goals are met.

·       Provide back up support to other roles as needed.

·       Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

·       Ability to effectively prioritize and work effectively on multiple simultaneous tasks and provide quality deliverables on schedule in a high-pressure environment.

·       Strong organizational skills with ability to plan, organize, and monitor work.

·       Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users.

·       Demonstrated strong experience collaborating with non-IT and executive stakeholders for implementing IT solutions.

·       Demonstrated strong experience with project planning and project management concepts.

·       Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and with others in a cooperative, enthusiastic, and friendly manner to accomplish position functions and participate in team efforts.

Industry and Work Experience:

·       7+ years’ of experience as an Digital Platforms Engineer or equivalent role.

·       Prior management experience strongly preferred.

Academic:

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required.
