KONE Technology and Innovation (KTI) is seeking a highly skilled Digital Operations Specialist to manage and support remote monitoring applications and devices hosted on Microsoft Azure across multiple geographical regions. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in Azure cloud operations, containerized platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, database platforms, and DevOps practices. The specialist will take strong ownership of production systems supporting large-scale, distributed, cloud-native, and IoT-enabled solutions. A strong technical expert in Microsoft Azure is critical for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and operate Azure-hosted, containerized applications and infrastructure supporting remote monitoring solutions.
Act as an Azure Subject Matter Expert, ensuring high availability, performance, security, scalability, and cost optimization of cloud environments.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, release, and deployment of Java-based applications.
Operate and support Kubernetes workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or equivalent container orchestration platforms.
Apply DevOps best practices, including environment management, release orchestration, and infrastructure as code.
Perform hands-on work with MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, and other Azure data services, including complex queries, performance tuning, data analysis, and reporting.
Support highly available, distributed, and containerized systems with strong end-to end operational ownership.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to reduce manual operational tasks and improve system reliability.
Monitor application and infrastructure health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and alerting tools.
Drive Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes, ensuring SLA and KPI compliance. KONE Internal
Perform deep troubleshooting across Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, Java applications, databases, and network layers.
Work with ServiceNow and Jira for ticket management, change tracking, and operational workflows.
Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and configuration artifacts. • Collaborate closely with Product Development, Frontline teams, Partners, and Operations teams for issue resolution and continuous service improvements.

7–8 years of experience supporting cloud-based, distributed, and production-grade systems.
Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, and operational excellence.
Proven experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is highly preferred.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms.
Good working knowledge of Java-based applications, JVM performance concepts, and production support.
Solid hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, and other Azure database services.
Experience handling large datasets, operational reporting, and analytics.
Exposure to IoT platforms, remote monitoring solutions, and telecom or device connectivity.
Strong skills in automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global and virtual teams.
Knowledge of integration technologies, REST APIs, and microservices architectures.
Experience working in Agile, Lean, and DevOps-driven delivery teams.
