We are seeking a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join Haynes and Boone. This role requires a creative individual with strong design skills and a deep understanding of email marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in graphic design and email marketing software, have experience crafting visually appealing email campaigns, and possess a keen eye for detail. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing our email campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of current marketing tools, primarily Vuture, and strategies to be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

Essential Duties

Email Marketing:

• Develop and implement email marketing strategies to promote products, services, and company updates using the firm's email marketing system, Vuture.
• Design and code HTML email templates that are responsive, user-friendly, and visually compelling.
• Monitor email deliverability and optimize campaigns to improve open and click-through rates.
• Conduct A/B testing to refine email designs, subject lines, and messaging for better performance.
• Analyze email campaign metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.
• Ensuring the seamless operation of our email marketing system and perform regular maintenance, including updating templates and design aspects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in email marketing to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Graphic Design:

• Design engaging graphics, illustrations, and images that align with brand guidelines and objectives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.

Other Duties

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Reporting Relationship

The Digital Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Manager of Business Development Operations with a dotted line relationship to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience

Must have two or more years of experience working as a graphic designer and email marketer. Experience with Vuture is a plus. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office suite.

Skills

Strong understanding of HTML/CSS for email template design and coding. Excellent creativity and artistic skills with a portfolio showcasing graphic design projects and email campaigns. Solid understanding of email marketing concepts, metrics, and best practices. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines. Ensure all design assets are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a passion for creating visually appealing designs that drive results.

Education

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field.

Physical Demands

Must be able to move around the office up to 15% of the time to make copies, fax, file, etc. Remains stationary at least 85% of the time. When coordinating/attending special events, might be required to move around up to 100% of the time. This position constantly operates computers, printers and other office productivity machines (e.g., fax machine, copier, etc.) Occasionally required to move documents or files weighing up to 15 lbs. This position requires constant communication and exchange of information with the firm attorneys, vendors, clients, and staff. This position must be able to inspect and observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time.
