POSITION SUMMARY:  The Digital Marketing Associate (3–5 years experience) is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing integrated digital marketing programs that support and enhance the organization’s brand, lead generation, and revenue growth objectives. This role leads social media communications while also contributing to digital advertising strategy, paid media execution, and performance marketing optimization. This position owns the planning and execution of social media, paid digital advertising (PPC, display, paid social), email marketing, and content marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with global and regional campaigns, product launches, and key company priorities. Additional responsibilities include managing content calendars, analyzing campaign performance, supporting marketing events, and serving as a key member of the North American Marketing Team. The role also manages Sunrise Medical Brand Ambassador relationships and ensures strong ROI from influencer partnerships.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content, Social Media & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and maintain an integrated marketing calendar including social media, email, and digital campaign launches aligned with global and local initiatives
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media, email, blogs, landing pages, and digital campaigns
  • Highlight Sunrise Medical marketing, technical education, clinical education, and sales initiatives across all channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote events, product launches, and campaigns

Digital Advertising & Performance Marketing

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Manage PPC budgets, monitor spend, and optimize campaigns to improve ROI, conversion rates, and cost efficiency
  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and A/B testing for ads, landing pages, and creative assets
  • Support retargeting and lead generation campaigns using marketing automation and CRM integration
  • Partner with internal stakeholders or agencies on media planning and performance reporting

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics including CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, engagement, and conversions
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, platform dashboards, and reporting tools to make data-driven recommendations
  • Continuously optimize campaigns, content, and user journeys based on performance insights

Brand & Partner Management

  • Ensure timely delivery of digital assets to advertising and media partners
  • Develop, manage, and optimize Brand Ambassador / influencer programs, ensuring deliverables and ROI are achieved
  • Identify and recommend new ambassadors and partnership opportunities

Community & Reputation Management

  • Monitor, engage, and respond to social media comments and inquiries
  • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to inform strategy
Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media marketing, or performance marketing roles

Digital & Advertising Expertise

  • Hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of PPC, paid social, display advertising, retargeting, and funnel optimization
  • Familiarity with SEO, keyword strategy, and landing page optimization

Tools & Platforms

  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and ad platform dashboards
  • Working knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), CRM systems, and marketing automation tools
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
  • Experience with A/B testing tools and campaign experimentation frameworks

Creative & Content Skills

  • Ability to create or guide development of digital ad creatives, copy, and campaign messaging
  • Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) preferred

Analytical & Strategic Skills

  • Strong ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable recommendations
  • Experience managing budgets and optimizing spend for performance outcomes
