The Role

Yassir is the leading super App in the Maghreb region set to changing the way daily services are provided. It currently operates in 45 cities across Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia with recent expansions into France, Canada and Sub-Saharan Africa. It is backed (~$200M in funding) by VCs from Silicon Valley, Europe and other parts of the world.

We offer on-demand services such as ride-hailing and last-mile delivery. Building on this infrastructure, we are now introducing financial services to help our users pay, save and borrow digitally.

As a performance-driven Marketing professional, you are a fully dedicated business leader with the opportunity to shape the future of Yassir Express South Africa.

You take part in the complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the Customers journey. From determining positioning, competitive analysis, feature prioritisation (in conjunction with our Head of Marketing) and external communications, you help shape the direction of Yassir, while helping it acquire new customers.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 4-7 years in performance and digital marketing
Hands-on (technical) experience across all digital marketing platforms (Google and social media)
Proven track record in customer acquisition and performance marketing
FMCG/ APP experience beneficial but not mandatory
Relevant qualification
