ServiceTrade, a leading SaaS company, seeks a Digital Forms Developer to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will work closely with onboarding engineers, implementation consultants, and customers to help optimize efficiency and integrate forms that modernize critical systems in the fire protection, life safety, and mechanical industries. 

You will convert work templates, build custom customer requirements, and convert existing form designs to simplify and maximize performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires you to collaborate with customers and understand their unique technical needs and challenges, then leverage your expertise in form development with old and new technologies to develop faster, more efficient solutions.

Location:
This position is ideally based in our Durham/RTP, NC office. Remote applicants, who meet the criteria, will be considered. Our office is located just off I-40 on Miami Blvd.


Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Advise customers in their efforts to take advantage of InspectionManager to improve their business processes
  • Lead technical aspects of project design and solution delivery, sometimes providing oversight and unit testing 
  • Provide expertise in best practices focused customization
  • Be an expert in form capabilities, and be able to guide project teams in overall platform best practices.
  • Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders including timeline and level of effort
  • Prepare customer-facing deliverables focused on the technology and responsible for quality of configured/developed solution
  • Juggle multiple complex projects/initiatives
  • Promote continuous improvement practices for delivery/engagement materials
  • Support specific services’ sales activities when required


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Visual Studio, Adobe, or Word is required. 
  • Proficient experience in C++, C#, and Javascript are ideal
  • Strong understanding of Java and/or object oriented logic 
  • Experience with Project Management software such as Asana, Jira, Time card systems, etc. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and ability to prioritize activity and work in a fast paced, team environment
  • B.A. or B.S. degree with 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience; ideally in a SaaS based environment
