About This Job
Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for a Senior Engineer to support the ICBM Program Digital Ecosystem as the Technical Lead. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Provide direction to members of the Sentinel Directorate-wide Digital Ecosystem regarding the implementation and management of the Digital Ecosystem.
- Manage a portfolio of Digital Transformation efforts, specifically overseeing:
- Digital Ecosystem Engineering (DESE)
- Data Architecture and Analytics
- Process Development Teams
- Build collaborative internal relationships with program and project teams, as well as external relationships with customers, regulatory bodies, other agencies and business partners
- Review technical assessments
- Responsible for coordinating and providing digital ecosystem solutions to the Government SPO.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School diploma and 14+ years of related experience, or
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related Engineering field with a minimum of 10+ years of professional experience, or
- MA/MS degree with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proven expertise in Systems Engineering methodologies
- Technical proficiency with industry-standard tools, specifically Cameo and DOORS
- Demonstrated ability to lead internal team initiatives while coordinating seamlessly with external stakeholders
- Proven track record of translating complex business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps
- Strong self-management skills with a demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize high-impact work independently
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical risks to non-technical executive leadership
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred Experience
- MS Degree in Computer Science, Software, Engineering or Technical Field
- Familiarity with systems engineering topics, including architecture development and requirements management and a willingness to learn Model Based System Engineering
- Familiarity with Program Management Principles, including cost. schedule and performance
- Familiarity with Data Analytics, Science or Data Engineering or a willingness to learn Enterprise wide integration of analytical toolsets spanning business, technical, modeling/simulation, test and sustainment focus areas
- Familiarity with software development and application integration, including knowledge of and practical experience implementing Agile methodologies
- Experience with DoW acquisitions
- Experience leading successful teams in high tempo environment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
