Join Maxis as a Digital Demand Management Intern and gain hands-on exposure to digital transformation, AI initiatives, and demand management processes within the telecommunications industry. In this role, you will support the evaluation and coordination of digital and AI-driven projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demand Funnel Support: Assist in the initial analysis of AI and digital requests while learning about prioritisation processes, resource allocation, and project planning from demand intake through to project initiation.

  • Digital Communication & Feedback: Support digital liaison activities between Network departments by preparing workshop summaries, gathering stakeholder feedback, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

  • Requirements Assistance: Work closely with Network Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to document business requirements for digital and AI-driven solutions and contribute to solution design discussions.

  • Business Case Contribution: Assist with data analysis and cost-benefit assessments for proposed digital initiatives and contribute to the preparation of business case components.

  • Budget & Procurement Learning: Support the monitoring of budget allocation for AI and digital initiatives while gaining exposure to procurement-related processes and activities.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Telecommunications, Business Information Systems, or related disciplines.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

  • Business Intelligence & Automation Tools: Exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy or Fine BI, and RPA tools such as Selenium or UiPath is an advantage.

  • Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of telecommunications industry standards and best practices, including concepts related to ITU-T, TM Forum, and GSMA.

  • Project & Process Awareness: Awareness of project management, program management, and process or quality management principles.

  • Digital & AI Interest: Exposure to or strong interest in AI, machine learning, automation, and digital transformation technologies.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Good interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to understand technical concepts and their potential business implications.

Internship Period
