Job Description:
The Digital Core S4 Tax and Treasury Lead will conduct impact assessments of product gaps, determine the applicability of the existing Tax and Treasury S4 landscape, and identify transition impacts to the new expanded S4 architecture. They will work with the business teams to prepare, review and help present materials about the decisions to the Design Authority from their areas of expertise to the Design Authority. They will assess the impact of the technology transformation in the Tax and Treasury space and drive the delivery of new capability in line with the Digital Core commitments and timing.
What are we looking for?
7 years + of project management experience in finance related projects, or finance related roles
•Solid understanding of the Tax and Treasury technology landscape, including the GIHB and integration to the wider system architecture. A clear understanding of how the different systems drive RTR business insight, process efficiency and effectiveness.
•Strong experience in system integration lifecycle including system design and deployment, systems integration, data migration, and data model design.
•A track record of having led large and complex digital programs.
•Ability to remain flexible and resilient under pressure and comfortable in dealing with ambiguity in a fast-moving portfolio of activity.
•In ability to influence key decision makers and business leaders combining strong verbal and written communication with excellent presentational skills.
•Relevant Competencies/Capabilities: Dealing with Ambiguity, Standing Alone, Directing Others, Program management (including Agile delivery)
•Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends and patterns, and make data-driven recommendations.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
•Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive change, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
What will be your key responsibilities?
•Shape the Tax and Treasury technology agenda within Mars working with senior business stakeholders including the Digital Core design teams, Tax and Treasury business teams, business integrators, and systems integrators.
•Participate and contribute to the Digital Core Tax and Treasury Edge system design discussions
•Lead the S4 delivery for Tax and Treasury technology enabled through the Digital Core Transformation working closely with the business stakeholders, SI Partners, BI Partners and SAP.
•Work with the SI partners to build and validate planning and resourcing necessary to deliver the S4 solutions across Tax and Treasury.
•Assess gaps and help to define technical solutions where needed; define potential impacts to the wider down stream systems
•Work with partner groups, PMO’s and governance bodies to ensure seamless and efficient ways of working in decision making, design authority and communication.
•Support the budget and finance processes for the Tax and Treasury Digital Core project portfolio.
