About the role

The Digital Content Writer is responsible for writing, developing, editing, and publishing informative and engaging content and copy for a variety of LifeMD’s digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media posts, infographics, whitepapers, and more. You will deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and medical studies)
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to prepare well-structured drafts
  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
  • Submit work to senior content writers for input and approval
  • Publish new content using Content Management Systems
  • Promote content on social media
  • Update website content as needed
  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Work closely with other marketing teams to produce content that generates results
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
  • 1+ years of experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
  • Exceptional research skills to investigate claims using multiple sources
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress, Contentful)
  • Interest in healthcare
  • Basic knowledge of SEO
  • Understanding of large language model-based chatbots like ChatGPT
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal/collaboration skills
