What You’ll Do

We're looking for an experienced Digital Communications Manager to lead Primark's corporate website and social channels, helping bring our business story to life through engaging digital content.

In this role, you'll shape our digital and content strategy, driving a digital-first approach across Corporate Affairs. You'll play a key role in the development and ongoing management of our new corporate website, ensuring it effectively engages media, investors and other stakeholders.

You'll also be responsible for our corporate social channels, defining channel and content strategies, creating impactful storytelling, and ensuring alignment with Primark's wider corporate narrative and reputational priorities.

Working closely with the Head of Communications, you'll lead a small digital team and collaborate across the business to deliver integrated, high-impact content, campaigns and stakeholder communications.

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Lead and evolve Primark's corporate digital presence, ensuring content is engaging, audience-focused and aligned to business priorities.
  • Oversee the development and optimisation of the corporate website, driving user experience, performance and content effectiveness.
  • Define and deliver the strategy for corporate social channels, with a particular focus on LinkedIn growth and engagement.
  • Develop compelling content and integrated campaigns that support key corporate affairs priorities and stakeholder audiences.
  • Drive innovation across digital communications, leveraging new tools, formats and approaches to enhance reach and impact.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on digital communications and content.
  • Lead and develop a small digital communications team while fostering strong relationships across internal teams, markets and agency partners.
  • Champion digital best practice and continuous improvement, embedding a forward-thinking and data-driven approach across Corporate Affairs.

  • 10 + years working in digital communications, ideally for a consumer facing brand in a corporate context.
  • Experience of managing a corporate website - experience overseeing the development of a new website is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering successful digital content and campaigns.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing agencies and leading a small team.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
