Job Summary:

The Ecommerce - Supply Chain Operations Head will lead the strategic direction and operational execution of the supply chain function for Ecommerce Platforms such as Flipkart, Amazon, Zepto, etc. This role is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness across all supply chain activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that support the organization’s goals and enhance competitive advantage.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee all supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality service delivery.
  • Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments (e.g., sales, production, finance) to ensure alignment and support for overall business objectives.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with quality and service standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance supply chain visibility, efficiency, and decision-making

Education Qualification:

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
