Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Vice President to join State Street’s Digital Asset Solutions team, supporting the development and delivery of innovative digital asset products across the EMEA market. This role is ideal for a strong product or strategy professional with hands‑on experience in digital transformation, institutional financial services, and emerging technologies.

The VP will work closely with senior leaders across product, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and commercial teams to help execute the EMEA components of the global digital strategy. This position can be based in any of our major European locations, including the UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, and Germany, and reports to the Head of Digital Asset Solutions as part of a small, collaborative global team.

The ideal candidate combines practical product management experience, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a good understanding of blockchain, tokenization, digital‑native technologies as well as a experience of traditional asset servicing eg Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting, custody, cash and collateral management.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As Vice President, you will:

Strategy & Execution

  • Support execution of the Digital Asset Solutions strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives.

  • Contribute to market analysis, competitive insights, and strategic recommendations to help shape product direction.

  • Collaborate with State Street divisions to bring together a One State Street approach to Digital – Investment Management, Markets, Alternatives, Wealth Management

Product Management

  • Lead day‑to‑day product activities for tokenization, digital custody, and related services from concept through delivery.

  • Partner with Product Development, Technology and Operations on requirements, feature development, and operational readiness.

  • Support governance activities including product lifecycle management, risk reviews, and regulatory assessments.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with clients alongside senior Digital Asset Solutions and Commercial leads to share product updates, gather feedback, and support adoption.

  • Develop client‑ready materials that simplify complex concepts and articulate value.

Commercialization & Business Management

  • Assist in developing business cases, pricing considerations, and commercial models.

  • Partner with the Strategic Investments team to assess external vendors, networks, and partners.

Operational & Cross‑Functional Delivery

  • Support integration of digital products with existing platforms, ensuring scalable service models.

  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Product Development to ensure alignment with controls and regulatory requirements.

Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership

  • Represent the team in working groups, client sessions, and selective industry forums.

  • Represent the organisation at industry events ensuring that State Street’s position in digital is enhanced

  • Contribute to external‑facing materials to help position State Street as a leader in digital asset innovation.

Team & Global Collaboration

  • Work closely with colleagues across regions to maintain global consistency and support cross‑market initiatives.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as the business grows.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • 10+ years in financial services, with experience in capital markets, custody, transfer agency, fund administration and/or digital transformation.

  • Practical understanding of blockchain, tokenization, wallet technologies, and digital infrastructure.

  • Experience contributing to product development or complex change programs.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.

  • Commercial awareness, including comfort with business cases and go‑to‑market planning.

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while collaborating across functions and regions.

  • Ability to operate in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment and drive progress.
