About the Role

Position Summary:

The Dietary Aide assists with the preparation, service, and cleanup of meals and snacks while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment. This position supports participant-centered dining services and may serve as a lead staff member during assigned shifts by coordinating daily kitchen workflow and ensuring food quality, safety, and service standards are met. Cooking experience is preferred.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous commercial cooking, institutional food service, healthcare dietary, or restaurant cooking experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen lead, shift lead, supervisory, or kitchen management role preferred.
  • Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).
  • Knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention practices preferred.
  • Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and work independently while supporting a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Skills Required
