DUTIES:

Prepares and cooks meals for residents

1. Prepares breakfast and/or lunch and/or dinner

2. Helps serve breakfast and/or lunch and/or dinner

3. When appropriate, helps serve food to residents

4. Clears/cleans dining area after completion of meal/snack. Including rinsing pots, pans and utensils, cleaning sink, clearing trash.

5. Maintains assigned areas in a clean and orderly fashion

6. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency

7. At all times, projects a favorable image of the company to promote its aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all of its areas of endeavor

8. Performs duties per schedule

9. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

Requirements

•Ability to follow oral and written communications.

•Ability to stand for long periods and stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

•Must demonstrate an understanding and an ability to work with the elderly.

•Experience with institutional food preparation desired.

•Be willing to be cross trained and function into other work areas of nutrition services.
