Concord Post Acute is looking for a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and take pride in providing excellent service to residents, we'd love to meet you.
As a Dietary Aide, you'll play an essential role in supporting our residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.
Position SummaryThe Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, tray assembly, meal service, dishwashing, and kitchen sanitation. This position works closely with the dietary team to ensure residents receive nutritious meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer service.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and assemble resident meal trays according to prescribed diets.
Deliver and collect meal trays in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
Assist with food preparation and portioning under the direction of the Dietary Manager or Cook.
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, dining rooms, and kitchen equipment.
Stock food, supplies, and kitchen inventory as needed.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and facility policies.
Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, families, and staff.
Assist with additional dietary department duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
