Join us as a DFT Design Engineer and become a critical part of Intel's mission to push the boundaries of innovation. In this role, you will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art technology by designing and implementing cutting-edge Design for Test (DFT) solutions. You will play a pivotal role in driving the quality and efficiency of our silicon products, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards for performance, reliability, and scalability. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop logic design, register transfer level (RTL) coding, and simulation for DFT features including SCAN, MBIST, and BSCAN.
- Provide DFT timing closure support and generate test content for manufacturing.
- Collaborate in the definition and implementation of block, subsystem, and SoC architecture and microarchitecture features under DFT.
- Optimize logic to meet power, performance, area, timing, test coverage, test time, and design integrity goals.
- Write and generate RTL and structural code to integrate DFT into designs effectively.
- Review and drive verification of DFT designs to ensure compliance with architecture specifications.
- Resolve and implement corrective measures for RTL test failures to ensure feature correctness.
- Integrate DFT blocks into functional IP and SoC designs and provide high-quality support to SoC customers.
- Collaborate with post-silicon and manufacturing teams to verify features on silicon, support debug requirements, and document learnings for future improvements.
- Develop high-volume manufacturing (HVM) content for rapid bring-up and ramp to production on automatic test equipment (ATE).
- Drive high test coverage through structural and specific IP tests to achieve quality and defect-per-million (DPM) objectives.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3 or more years with a Master's degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
- Proficiency in Design for Test (DFT) knowledge, tools, and techniques.
- Strong expertise in SystemVerilog, OVM, and UVM.
- Experience with DFx methodologies and test content generation.
- Familiarity with RTL coding, simulation, and DFT timing closure processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to optimize designs for power, performance, and area while meeting timing and test coverage goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of resolving complex design issues.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to partner with cross-functional teams.
