The Opportunity:
The DSO Platform is a regularly evolving suite of software development and delivery tools. It is hosted on AWS and leverages all cloud native technologies. It is a container driven ecosystem hosted on Amazons Elastic Kubernetes Service. Currently, it consists of the following software tools:
•             Gitlab
•             Atlassian Jira
•             Atlassian Confluence
•             Nexus Repository
•             SonarQube
•             Draw.io
•             Semgrep
•             Keycloak
•             ArgoCD
AWS native tools are utilized to support platform logging and monitoring with FY26 plans to include a Grafana based monitoring stack.
Responsibilities:
Automation/DevOps Engineers focus on scripting, templating, and pipeline design to automate builds, deployments, testing, and compliance checks. Their expertise in tools such as Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD ensures that each step in the software delivery lifecycle can be triggered automatically and reliably.
These engineers also develop reusable templates for different project types, making it easier for teams across the enterprise to set up consistent and secure CI/CD pipelines that adhere to best practices.
Working with the Configuration Manager they develop processes for versioning, branching, and tagging to make sure that every application component, from infrastructure as code to application code, is maintained in a consistent, auditable state. By combining configuration management tools with pipeline automation, they reduce drift in test and production environments, improving reliability and compliance.
Qualifications:

o             Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation
o             Software Composition Analysis (SCA) / CVE detection
o             Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) using tools such as Burp suite or similar.
•             Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar to deploy to both cloud and on-premises data centers.
•             Proven experience deploying and managing cloud-native (AWS) Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS) solutions
•             Strong understanding of Kubernetes security, RBAC, pod security policies, and IAM Roles for Service Accounts (IRSA)
