What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a DevSecOps Intern to join the Information Security team for Summer 2026. In this role you will work with the Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) and Application Security (AppSec) team to drive security forward across all of Bandwidth’s applications. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity.
What You'll Do:
- Develop Security Compliance Automation
- Participate in Security Reviews/Penetration Testing
- Learn about and use enterprise security tools
- Participate in responding to security incidents
What You Need:
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in a Cybersecurity related area or concentration
- Experience with GitHub, Terraform, Scripting
- Knowledge around Security Compliance Frameworks and Software Development Lifecycle
- Knowledge of Software Security
- Great communication skills
Bonus Points:
- Experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc…)
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with developing Automation scripts against web APIs
