We are looking for a motivated university student to join our DevOps team in Ždírec nad Doubravou or in Ostrava, Czechia.
As a trainee, you will work 20 hours per week while continuing your studies, with a flexible schedules that aligns with your academic commitments.
This is a hands-on learning position where you will support the team in day-to-day operations, release management, and infrastructure monitoring.
No deep technical background is required — what matters most is a systematic mindset, eagerness to learn, and good communication skills.
We are looking for a trainee who can commit until August 2027.
About the role
What you'll be working on
Monitoring servers, databases, and systems (Windows Server, Oracle, ERP)
Analyzing system logs and identifying anomalies
Supporting the build and deployment automation process (Azure DevOps)
Handling operational tasks — assisting developers and business process experts
Running simple database queries (Oracle SQL / MS SQL)
Modifying and maintaining operational workflows
Supporting cloud infrastructure (OCI, Azure)
Routine administrative tasks (e.g. printer installations, access management)
What we're looking for
Currently enrolled in an IT-related study program
Comfortable working in a Windows environment (Windows Server experience is a plus)
Systematic, structured approach to problem-solving
High willingness to learn new technologies and tools
Communicative level of English (written and spoken)
No prior DevOps experience required
