Position Title: DevOps Software Engineer III

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, motivated DevOps Software Engineer III to join our team and lead our continued maturation of DevOps. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure DevOps processes and infrastructure. Your expertise will drive the automation and optimization of our software development lifecycle, ensuring our applications are deployed reliably and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Design and maintain YAML-based CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support seamless code integration and deployment.
- Automation & Process Optimization: Automate application deployment, configuration management, and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and reliability. Analyze and evaluate existing processes for improvement.
- DevSecOps: Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipelines to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory policies.
- Application Support: Configure and manage .NET applications, including IIS setup and optimization.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, manage, and maintain infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and Ansible for for cloud platforms including AWS and Azure and on-premise infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve developer experience.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments quickly and effectively.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Development, Infrastructure or similar role.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation, artifact management, and release processes.
- Advanced scripting skills with PowerShell and other scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of IIS configuration and .NET application deployments.
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
- Solid understanding of version control systems like Git.
Preferred:
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and implementation.
- Knowledge of serverless computing and related frameworks.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn and implement new technologies.
