DevOps Manager

This role works on a Sunday through Thursday daytime shift.
What you’ll do for us
- Manage all aspects of o9 platform deployment and technical operations
- Manage DevOps team based out of India, assigning and monitoring work tasks and ensuring quality and efficiency is maintained
- Hire and grow DevOps talent
- Lead, plan, build, configure, test, and deploy DevOps solutions
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to manage o9 platform deployment, maintenance and support needs
- Promote DevOps strategies and implementation goals
- Develop and deploy best in class automation to efficiently manage o9 platform deployments
- Analyze and approve code and configuration changes
What you’ll have
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred
Experience:
- Management experience : 6+ years of experience building and leading high performing diverse teams either as DevOps manager or Software Development Manager.
- 5-10 years of experience in a Dev Ops role, performance tuning, conducting application upgrades, patches, supporting continuous integration and deployment tooling
- 3 years of experience with Dockers or similar, 2 years of experience with Kubernetes or similar;
- Working experience monitoring tool/stack (ELK, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, Newrelic)
Skills:
- Proficient with Cloud Operations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Jenkins or similar technologies, Ansible, Terraform, Administration of databases (MS SQL, Mongo)
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and testing skills
- Ability to deliver independently and to translate requirements into technical solutions with minimal supervision
- Ability and flexibility to work with teams globally, across time zones
