Position in this function builds and maintains the tooling and infrastructure used to automate the release, deployment, and upgrade processes. Combines software development and IT operations practices which shorten the systems delivery life cycle and provide a continuous delivery platform. Improve communication and collaboration to enable rapid product development by serving as the liaison between the development and operations teams. Dev-Ops area complements the efficiencies of Agile software development methods by creating more stable operating environments, and continuously improving the infrastructure to be easily deployable and scalable. Incumbents maintain advanced knowledge of development processes and programming languages.
Skills in automating software delivery (CI/CD), managing scalable cloud infrastructure (GCP), using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and monitoring/logging, emphasizing collaboration with dev/ops teams to boost efficiency, reliability, and faster releases through scripting (Python/Bash).
