The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you are a multifaceted generalist who has a wide-ranging knowledge of both development and operations. You are able to leverage your skillsets; including coding, infrastructure management, system administration, and DevOps toolchains to further the Engineering team roadmap.
What You Will Do
- Participate in the on-call rotation to address and resolve incidents and other operational issues.
- Enhance and optimize deployment strategies for effective workflows.
- Maintain and perform necessary system upkeep for infrastructure and associated projects.
- Ensure the uptime and reliability of the Bloomerang application infrastructure by configuring necessary monitoring and alerting.
- Contribute to the enhancement and construction of CI/CD pipelines, a new VPN system, and the ongoing migration of .NET Core applications from Windows to Linux servers
What You Need to Succeed
- A clear understanding of the systems that you are responsible for, and industry best practices that relate to those systems.
- Mindfulness for the internal developer experience of processes and tooling.
- Proficiency in CI/CD practices & automation tools, AWS, and Linux or Windows server OS administration.
- Knowledgeable in Bash, PowerShell, and Python scripting languages.
- Ability to actively explore, learn, and responsibly integrate AI tools into daily tasks to drive efficiency and support Bloomerang's mission.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $96,000 - $130,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws
Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
