Are you a highly skilled and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Cloud Platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)? Do you thrive on complex challenges and wish to make a significant impact on critical national infrastructure? Join our elite team, exclusively focused on GCP, where we lead transformative cloud journeys for top-tier Israeli governmental, defense, semi-military, and enterprise organizations.

Our team of 7 GCP specialists is at the forefront of cloud and security integration, dedicated to building highly resilient, scalable, and secure cloud environments. We're seeking an exceptional individual to join us in designing, migrating, and optimizing solutions that leverage the full power of GCP, from foundational Landing Zones (based on Fast Fabric principles) to cutting-edge AI capabilities. If you possess a strong blend of technical mastery, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to excellence, coupled with a genuine passion for GCP and a drive to learn – we invite you to be a part of our growing success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead GCP Platform Design & Implementation: Architect, deploy, and manage complex GCP environments for strategic clients, including the establishment of secure and compliant Landing Zones following Fast Fabric principles.
  • Advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, maintain, and optimize robust Infrastructure as Code using Terraform at an advanced level, ensuring automated, consistent, and auditable deployments.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Mastery: Design, implement, and enhance Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Testing pipelines for seamless application deployments.
  • Cloud Security & Compliance: Ensure stringent cybersecurity compliance with operational risk standards, centrally defined security policies, and regulatory requirements for sensitive government and defense entities.
  • Migration & Optimization: Facilitate the migration of critical workloads from on-premise data centers to GCP and optimize existing cloud solutions for performance, cost, and scalability.
  • AI/ML Integration: Guide and assist clients in leveraging GCP's AI/ML capabilities to unlock new insights and drive innovation within their organizations.
  • Networking Expertise: Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex networking solutions within GCP, ensuring robust and secure connectivity.
  • Technical Advisory: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to clients, addressing all GCP-related needs and fostering best practices.
  • Innovation & Research: Continuously explore and integrate new GCP services and products, especially in emerging fields like Generative AI, to maintain a leading edge

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer/Cloud Engineer in a major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Significant hands-on experience with GCP is a strong advantage.
  • Proven willingness and ability to rapidly learn and specialize in GCP is essential for candidates with primary experience in other clouds.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Terraform is mandatory, with a track record of building, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex IaC modules and environments.
  • Solid foundation in on-premise infrastructure: Proven experience with traditional data center environments, including virtualization, storage, and networking concepts.
  • Strong networking background: In-depth understanding and practical experience with networking principles (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VPNs, Load Balancing) and their implementation within cloud environments (ideally GCP: VPC, Shared VPC, Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud DNS).
  • Expert understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build, ArgoCD).
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies: Extensive experience with Kubernetes, GKE (or EKS/AKS), Cloud Run, and Serverless platforms (Cloud Functions/Lambda/Azure Functions).
  • Hands-on Linux System Administration experience.
  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification (or willingness to achieve it within a defined timeframe) – is a significant advantage. Candidates with AWS/Azure Professional certifications demonstrating similar capabilities will be considered, provided they commit to GCP certification.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects and/or programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and a strong problem-solver with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
