Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource usage.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef/Puppet.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to support build and deployment processes.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
- Ensure smooth integration and deployment processes, including testing, staging, and production environments.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Proactively monitor the system to identify potential bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that software is built and deployed consistently and efficiently.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices and ensure that infrastructure complies with security standards.
- Drive the continuous improvement of infrastructure, tooling, and processes to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our software development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in DevOps, automation, and cloud technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices and serverless architecture.
- Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with automating security and compliance tasks.
- Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, etc.).
