Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Provisioning and Management: Deploying and managing infrastructure resources on Azure

  • Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes

  • Monitoring and Logging: Setting up monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and security of the platform

  • Security and Compliance: Implementing security measures and best practices to protect the platform and its data

  • Environment Management: Managing multiple environments (e.g., development, staging, production) and coordinating release cycles

  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with cross-functional teams as well as effective communication and documentation of processes, procedures, and configurations are essential

  • Troubleshooting and Support: Identifying and resolving issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and platform performance

  • Automation and Optimization: Continuously identifying opportunities to automate manual tasks, improve operational efficiency, and optimize resource utilization

  • Learning and Growth: Staying updated with the latest Azure services, DevOps practices, and industry trends. Actively participating in training programs, certifications, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance skills and contribute to the team's growth

Job Qualifications

  • Practical knowledge of DevOps toolset: Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform / Bicep / ARM etc.), Code repositories (GitHub Repos etc.), Scripting language (Python / PowerShell etc.), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps Pipelines etc.), Deployment/test automation (e.g. Azure Test Plans etc.) and static code analysis (GitHub Security / SonarQube / Snyk etc.)

  • Understanding of Cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)

  • Good communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) will be an additional asset

  • The ability to lead initiatives will be an additional asset
