Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated pipelines to build, test, and deploy applications from CI through production

Automate cloud-based infrastructure provisioning and configuration

Own and maintain production and pre-production infrastructure

Pair with developers to address infrastructure and environment-related issues

Evaluate new infrastructure for use within the system

Identify and implement improvements to infrastructure to improve uptime and reliability

Assist in troubleshooting activities

Participate in the implementation and certification of compliance-related systems
-
Automate manual tasks in order to increase velocity and reliability

Design and implement monitoring systems to make sure our systems remain healthy
Qualifications:
-
Experience maintaining and securing AWS resources -- other cloud environments are a plus
-
Experience with terraform
-
Experience with containerization
-
Kubernetes and other orchestration systems would be nice but isn’t a hard requirement

Development experience is a plus
-
Able to write and maintain automation scripts in ruby and/or python
-
Proficiency on the UNIX prompt is a requirement

Experience working with Windows servers wouldn’t hurt

Experience working with agile methodologies

Experience using git & Github

Able to help solve build and deployment issues

5+ years of experience as either a software or DevOps engineer

BS in computer science or equivalent
