We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Azure Cloud Platforms and Test Automation to join Themis, our in-house Transaction Monitoring (TM) solution. This role is critical in combating financial crime by ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and well-tested.
You will work in an Agile environment (Scrum/SAFe), focusing on CI/CD pipeline optimization and test automation for Python-based solutions. A passion for testing and proficiency in Python are essential.

Within Rabobank, we have built a data-driven solution that analyses over 11 million transactions daily to detect customers who launder money or finance terrorists. As the behavioural patterns of criminals constantly evolve, our solution needs to adapt and become just as quickly. To keep our solution flexible and stable, we need intelligent individuals like yourself who are passionate about extending and improving our current Transaction Monitoring (TM) solutions.
To keep our TM solution up to date to fight financial crime, you are passionate about working together in a team where you provide your expertise to enable the team to make better-informed decisions regarding the technical design and implementation of analytical solutions. This way, you make sure Rabobank will be able to fight financial crime effectively.
Your responsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable and modular testing framework for Python models and platform using pytest.
Develop infrastructure- and component automated testing for Databricks runtime environment.
Collaborate with DevOps engineers to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
Collaborate with data scientists and DevOps engineers to embed testing in the SDLC, drive the overall quality.
Improve software quality by enhancing test strategies and automation coverage.
Coach team members on testing best practices and automation techniques.
3+ years of experience in DevOps and test automation.
Proficient in Python and automated testing in pytest for Python based applications.
Experience with unit, integration, system, UAT, security, and performance testing.
Familiarity with Risk-Based Testing and Product Risk Analysis (PRA).
Ability to create stubs, drivers, and test data for subsystem testing.
Strong Python development skills for data transformation and automation.
Experience with PySpark and IDEs like VS Code or PyCharm.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile teams and participating in Agile rituals.
Fluent in English.
Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup and security.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
Understanding of monitoring and logging tools in Azure.
Domain knowledge in Transaction Monitoring or Financial Crime Prevention.
Familiar with Contract testing frameworks.
