Job summary:
We are seeking a passionate DevOps engineer to join the Forge team, as part of the System Integration Factory tribe. In this project, you will work with best in class DevOps technologies, collaborating with other colleagues by being part of a mixed Agile team.
Besides the project context, you will become part of a transversal department with experienced colleagues that offer DevOps & Cloud services to multiple activity domains. You will have the opportunity to grow in an accelerated rhythm in your career through a collaboration with the other colleagues and their accumulated expertise in various technologies. You will also become a member of an International DevOps Community with visibility across the entire company.
Mission / main responsibilities:
Implement/maintain CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab in order to streamline the development process
Build Ansible playbooks in order to automate specific team processes
Actively contribute to the team’s Agile ceremonies
Investigate and troubleshoot potential problems that have impact on the team
Provide regular feedback related to the project evolution from the DevOps perspective
Use technical expertise to recommend various DevOps best practices
You need to have:
Technical study of Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Electronics or similar
At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer, having a solid understanding of the DevOps culture
Strong knowledge of Linux and ability to create shell scripts.
Proficiency with Git, Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
Solid skills in using Ansible, implementing playbooks from scratch
Solid containerization skills (Docker)
Proven skills of Kubernetes & Helm for configuration & deployments
Ability to manage artifact repositories (Artifactory, Nexus, etc.) and code quality platforms (SonarQube)
Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud
Troubleshooting curiosity, proactive attitude – looking for answers, solution oriented
Previous collaboration with international/mixed development teams
Experience in working with teams that are using the Agile methodologies
Flexibility, adaptability skills in order to evolve in changing environments
Nice to have:
Previous exposure to observability/monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus)
Terraform skills
Experience with Google Cloud Platform and desire to grow these skills
Python scripting competencies
Travel - 1-2 travels per year to France (if needed)
