Leads the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-quality software and DevOps solutions. This role is responsible for building and optimizing information systems, while also supporting and mentoring a team of engineers developing new and existing applications. The Principal DevOps Engineer brings strong technical expertise, a consistent track record of delivery, and the ability to work across multiple facets of complex projects. Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable software and DevOps solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (users, technical teams, and leadership) to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure timely delivery.
- Analyze system workflows, data usage, and processes to identify gaps and drive effective solutions.
- Own and drive the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Design system specifications, architectures, and standards to enable robust and scalable applications.
- Define application interfaces, integration points, and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
- Provide technical leadership in implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Recommend and adopt modern tools, technologies, and best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance standards.
- Lead system analysis and recommend improvements in processes, policies, and applications.
- Mentor, coach, and develop engineers; support hiring and team growth initiatives.
- Foster a culture of built-in quality, continuous improvement, and technical agility.
- Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and incorporating relevant advancements.

- 10+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with:
- GitHub (primary) and GitHub Actions (CI/CD pipelines and workflows)
- JFrog (artifact repository management)
- Cloud platforms – AWS and/or Azure
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with tools such as Flagsmith, GitLab, Jenkins
- Exposure to Anaconda and SonarQube
- Knowledge of automation testing frameworks
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible
