We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our international IP Core team and support the development, automation, testing, and operation of workflow-based solutions for carrier-grade network services. In this role, you will contribute to the implementation of automation workflows, qualification of production models, deployment automation, and continuous improvement of service delivery processes. You will work closely with development, operations, and project teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable automation solutions.
Job DescriptionYour Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and operate automation solutions for infrastructure and network services.
- Support project teams during solution development, quality assurance, release planning, and product releases.
- Design and implement automation for services, operational processes, and production models.
- Perform performance analysis, optimization, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Support the automation of deployments across different environments.
- Provide and maintain project-specific infrastructure and toolchains for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Perform qualification and acceptance testing of T-IPC production models and workflows within the GeKo system.
- Develop and maintain automated workflows using Xyna Factory.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and test documentation.
- Support the Service Desk in resolving technical issues.
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a comparable qualification, or equivalent professional experience in System Engineering.
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Engineer, or Automation Engineer.
- Good knowledge of Cisco and/or Juniper networking environments, including CLI and NETCONF/YANG.
- Good understanding of network protocols and infrastructure services.
- Linux administration and scripting skills.
- Experience creating test concepts, test plans, and technical documentation.
- Experience performing system qualification and acceptance testing.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or GitLab.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an international team.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with workflow automation tools such as Xyna Factory, Ansible, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Programming experience in Python, Java, or comparable languages.
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Experience with Jira and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and DevOps best practices.
- German language skills (minimum B1 level).
