In our R&D Center in Prague we are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will help drive scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions for big data and ADAS validation environments. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams across R&D, IT, Cyber Security, and Software Tools to automate secure cloud deployments and optimize engineering workflows. You will support large-scale AWS and hybrid cloud environments focused on data processing, AI/ML workloads, storage, and automation. The position involves managing Docker and Kubernetes deployments, implementing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices, and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of cloud solutions. You will also contribute to cloud migration projects, technical proof-of-concepts, and operational support activities. A key part of the role is advising teams on cloud best practices, scalability, and cost optimization. You will participate in technology benchmarking, compliance activities, and technical workshops for engineering teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative cloud solutions in the Automotive and ADAS domain.
YOUR CHALLENGES?Design and implement cloud and hybrid solution automated deployments and operations for R&D projects and workflows allowing smooth projects Big Data Run Operations, in compliance with Valeo Standard, Cyber Security and Strategy
Ensure scalability, integrity, cost-optimization and consistency of all Run (Hybrid)Cloud based Platform according to Business Requirements
Design architectures enabling to reap the benefits of elasticity, horizontal scalability, automation and high availability. provide opportunities to design and build cloud ready applications
Design and implement monitoring tools Supervise Production Platforms
Optimize overall usage costs
Ensure solutions compliance with Valeo R&D DSIS, IT, Cybersecurity and customer standards
Contribute to: Design and implement new Cloud based standard frameworks (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Solutions, HPC, DevOps, AI, CI/CD, big-data processing)
Review an application architecture and improve the efficiency on the cloud (price and performance) In close cooperation with legal, purchasing, and cybersecurity, support R&D IS partners/service providers assessment

Technology watch and roadmap monitoring with the Cloud Software & Service Providers
Providing Valeo internal cloud knowledge sharing
LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, ECR) and cloud architecture
Experience with Google Cloud (GCP/GCS) or Azure is a plus
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments
Experience designing scalable, highly available cloud solutions
DevOps automation skills (Terraform, Ansible, Shell, Python, CI/CD)
Experience with Linux administration in cloud or virtualized environments
Knowledge of networking, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud infrastructure
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Nagios)
Proactive, independent mindset with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
