We are now looking for a DevOps Engineer. As a DevOps Engineer - Build & CI/CD in the Software Integration & Release team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining build & test jobs in Continuous Integration system. You will implement DevOps & Software Integration best practices and drive automation across the integration and release pipeline.
What you'll be doing
· Develop, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient, reliable integration and delivery of embedded software.
· Implement and champion DevOps and Software Integration best practices across the team and broader organization.
· Monitor builds in CI systems - anticipate, debug, and resolve build & test breaks quickly.
· Design and develop automation tools to streamline existing build, test, and release workflows.
· Manage and improve containerized build environments using Docker.
· Implement new build configurations based on evolving project requirements.
· Collaborate with development teams to provide efficient builds, tools, and infrastructure to the organization.
What we need to see
· A solid technical foundation such as a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
· 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Build, or Release Engineering role.
· Experience in embedded software development project(s) is a must.
· Solid experience with build systems such as Bazel, CMake, etc.
· Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and Bash.
· Strong experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Jenkins, Gerrit, GitLab, Artifactory, and Docker.
· Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker is a must.
· Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line interfaces.
· Good understanding of Software Engineering & Integration best practices for embedded software development.
· Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and a strong desire for automation.
· Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to clearly articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions.
