The Team:
The DevOps team aims to deliver the expertise which helps Murex customers in the region, providing a range of services, including support, training, evolution of the platform, and the implementation of new modules.
What you’ll do:
As a Technical implementation Consultant in the Murex Mexico office, you will work closely with our clients, who are major banks, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies, corporate and other players in the capital markets. Your responsibilities will include:
Work on the technical implementation of MX.3 platform in SaaS mode
Manage the non-functional requirements (NFR), non-functional testing (NFT), and all performance-related topics of MX.3
Work closely with the integration stream to handle the development and adaptation of interfaces between the client information systems and Murex MX.3
Ensure the quality and stability of the MX.3 platform
Design and implement tools needed for the operations and management of MX.3 in SaaS (monitoring, automation, etc.)
Work in continuous integration models using Jenkins, Ansible and GIT
Act as the technical contact for SaaS clients and as escalation on all technical incidents
Work on proposals for Murex prospects interested in the SaaS offering (provide the hardware capacity needed to Implement Murex modules, answer RFPs around Murex technical architecture, network, security, etc.)
Who you are:
If you enjoy solving complex problems, critical thinking and have the following knowledge:
Education: Degree in bachelor’s in engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Equivalent
1 to 4 years of IT experience.
Should have good exposure to working on programming languages: namely Java and groovy
Passionate about learning and working with new technologies and known practices (agile, DevOps, automation tools)
Knowledge of Shell scripting and Unix systems
Database knowledge
An outstanding troubleshooting skill is required to solve the client’s issues
Ability to explain technical architecture in non-technical terms to communicate to a broad audience of different backgrounds
Exposure to any of the following Cloud Core applications/environments is an advantage
Citrix, AWS, Jenkins, Exposure to As-A-Service models is a plus: IaaS, BPaaS, and SaaS
Fluent written & oral English is necessary
Fluent written & oral Spanish is necessary

Skills Required
