About the role:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps (CMS & Web) Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for web applications, particularly those utilizing Magnolia CMS. Your expertise will help streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes to ensure faster and more efficient releases. You will collaborate closely with developers and operations teams to implement scalable and reliable DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Magnolia CMS and other web applications, ensuring smooth integration and automated deployment processes.
  • Work with development teams to automate and improve testing, building, and deployment procedures, ensuring continuous delivery of high-quality code.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues, optimizing performance and uptime.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure code is delivered smoothly from development through production.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible to manage cloud environments.
  • Automate server configuration, container management, and scaling using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ensure system security by integrating CI/CD processes with DevSecOps best practices, ensuring security is considered in all stages of the deployment lifecycle.
  • Perform load and stress testing on pipelines to ensure scalability and reliability during peak usage.
  • Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools and technologies to continuously improve the pipeline and deployment strategies.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for web applications, particularly in Magnolia CMS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
  • Expertise in managing containers and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Experience in automating tests, deployments, and monitoring, with a focus on DevSecOps principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize CI/CD pipelines and related infrastructure.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work across development and operations teams.
