About the role
The Device Development Engineer is responsible for the design, simulation, and characterisation of devices to enhance product competitiveness.
What you will do
Engage in device development for advanced logic processes and BCD processes
Design for device structures, perform TCAD simulations, create layout designs and implement DOE plan to validate and optimise device performance
Conduct electrical characterisation and reliability evaluation to meet the device target
Assist in device failure mechanisms analysis, propose design improvements, and drive technology iterations
What you will need
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Device Physics, or related fields. Fresh graduates or candidates with 3+ years of experience; preference for those with CMOS/BCD device design experience
Proficiency in TCAD tools (e.g., Sentaurus, Silvaco) and familiarity with device characterisation equipment (probe stations, parameter analysers)
Strong English proficiency for cross-disciplinary communication; ability to collaborate with design and process teams
