The development Manager is pivotal in maintaining the technical excellence of the team. This role

involves identifying and addressing technical issues and risks that could affect talent and team

performance. As the gatekeeper of the technical environment, the Specialist Manager ensures

that the team operates at the highest standards of technical quality.

Key Responsibilities:

● Technical Quality Assurance:

○ Maintain and enhance the technical skills and capabilities of team members.

○ Conduct regular assessments to ensure technical standards are met and

improved.

○ Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they adhere to best

practices.

● Risk Identification and Management:

○ Identify potential technical issues and risks that could impact the team's

performance.

○ Proactively bring technical concerns to the table for discussion and resolution.

○ Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks 

in conjunction with the Talent Manager and IAM Partner.

● Technical Environment Management:

○ Act as the gatekeeper of the technical environment for the team.

○ Ensure that the tools, technologies, and processes used by the team are

effective and up-to-date.

○ Foster a collaborative and innovative technical environment.

● Stakeholder Communication:

○ Effectively communicate technical issues and risks to relevant stakeholders.

○ Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure technical alignment and

integration.

○ Provide regular updates on technical status and progress to management.

● Continuous Improvement:

○ Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.

○ Encourage and facilitate continuous learning and development within the team.

○ Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance team performance.

● Mentorship and Development:

○ Mentor team members to develop their technical skills and knowledge.

○ Provide constructive feedback and support professional growth.

○ Create opportunities for skill enhancement and career advancement.

● Technical Skills:

○ Must: Core Python (first) or Java.

○ Nice to have: ML, LLM, AI.

● Additional Requirements:

○ Experience in information architecture.

○ Experience in development services companies, working mainly with nearshore

teams from LATAM.

○ 10-15 years of experience in the field.

○ Engineering background.

○ Strong communication skills.

○ Responsible for quality control of team setup processes, reviewing and tracking

onboarding tickets, and talent acceptance.

○ Ongoing service maintenance and quality.

○ Location: Talent based in the USA.
