The development intern will contribute to the development department in one or more of the following areas of software development: mobile application development, desktop application development, web application development, and user experience development. They will be an active participant of a development team and will be assisting with the testing, debugging, and documenting of the software. They will receive technical training to perform his/her responsibilities and gain valuable insights into the process of developing software for the healthcare industry.

 


 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • The selected intern will be a participant in the design and development of healthcare applications. Responsibilities will include one or more of the following:
  • Assist in the conversion of QC to all API calls; test against the client database; regression testing
  • Pushing data rather than pulling data in our Analytics tool
  • Participate in the testing, documentation, and debugging of mobile, desktop, web, and/or user experience solutions.
  • Help enhance systems to monitor the operating efficiency of new or existing applications.
  • Demonstrate the application functionality as it is developed to the product owner.
  • Assist in developing detailed design specifications.
  • Participate in the resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Explore how AI can help with each of the above bullet points.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION DESIRED:

Enrollment in a College or University with a Computer Science Degree or similar
