Job Description

Currently, we are looking for a Development Engineer in Liège, Belgium to be part of our global team working together towards our mission – to bring meaningful moments to people in connected public spaces. As our Development Engineer, you will work in the New Product Development Team to manage the development of set of components / sub-assemblies of our future luminaires.

What you will do :

  • Translate the product requirements into technical specifications
  • Responsible of the selection for set of components and sub-assemblies’ definition
  • Create the electro-mechanical concepts and designs in close collaboration with the MD and in line with manufacturing process
  • Analysis and interpretation of FEA calculation and bench test results
  • Build CNC prototypes
  • Participate actively to pre-series at plant level.
  • Develop a validation plan with laboratory
  • Create the “Engineering Configurator” to generate e-BOM for each product variants
  • Support to operation during 0-series
  • Technical reporting

Skills Requested

  • Engineering Master Degree (mechanical, electromechanical, …)
  • At least 3 – 7 years of relevant experience
  • Languages : English (B2) + local language
  • Electro-mechanical good knowledge
  • Design For Manufacturing experience
  • Good knowledge of New Product Development Process
  • Good knowledge of PLM
  • Very good knowledge of Solidworks
  • FEA knowledge
  • Solution driven and customer oriented
  • Technical Project Management knowledge
