Job Description

As a Development Engineer at at Haselmeier, you will:

  • Develop new drug delivery products and adapt existing technologies for customer’s drug products
  • Core responsibility for the design throughout development phase from design input to design verification
  • Implement test methods and conduct engineering testing during the development phase of a drug delivery device
  • Prepare requirements, 3D-CAD, drawings, engineering analysis, risk management and test plans
  • Technical interface to external development partners, suppliers, and customers
  • Create product and development documentation throughout the entire project
  • Provide cross-departmental support for engineering tasks and technical support of quotation requests

Qualifications

  • Completed studies in a technical field (e.g. mechanical engineering, precision engineering, mechatronics, medical technology) or similar education / experience
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the development of medical devices
  • Experienced with engineering and design verification testing
  • Proficient in mechanical design and tolerance analysis
  • Proficient knowledge of 3D CAD systems, ideally SolidWorks
  • Quality mindset with knowledge of relevant regulations, quality standards and technical norms such as EU MDR, 21 CFR 820, 21 CFR 4, ISO 13485, ISO 11608 and ISO 14971
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoke- German is a nice to have
  • Good technical experience is a must
