Job Description
Your Team
The Development Coordinator (DC) is responsible for supporting the Director of Development and Development Manager for LakePointe and other project(s) they are assigned. This will include supporting the delivery of residential lots, commercial sites, and backbone infrastructure. The DC plays a critical role in the coordination of development projects and future acquisitions including the administration of construction contracts, budgeting, and scheduling. The DC will also support the local office team in general administrative tasks, office management coordination including ordering office supplies, kitchen supplies, scheduling team events and scheduling division or region meetings.
Key Deliverables

Support entitlement approvals and preliminary plat applications as directed

Coordinate permit applications, bond requests, tracking and releases and agreements with various agencies and utilities

Coordinate meetings, project schedules, information sharing during design and permitting with various stakeholders (City, County or State planning and utilities, PSE Power and Gas, Lumen, Comcast, etc. as applicable)

Maintain development status, home permitting and construction status and other details within internal database system for internal reporting

Support preparation of contractor bidding documents

Coordination of construction contracts with support from accounting, legal and local team members
-
Coordinate change orders, request for information and pay applications for construction contracts as directed
-
Support the delivery of residential plots and commercial parcels, including roads, sewer, water, storm and dry utilities as directed

Support the delivery of finished lots and recording final plats for each development or phase as directed
-
Responsible for reporting safety incidents and near misses into Cority system and follow up with Health, Safety and Security team as necessary

Regular, intentional monitoring of all construction site conditions, erosion control systems, model homes/sales centers, builder activity, and raw land.

Office management, order office supplies, kitchen supplies and equipment

Support in planning, scheduling and executing team building events

Support in planning, scheduling and executing division and regional meetings

General administrative duties, as needed

Monitor consultants and contractors’ performance and maintain relationships

Maintain and foster open and knowledgeable communication with all stakeholders including agencies, consultants, contractors, builder partners and community residents
Skills & Experience
-
2+ years of land development, residential construction or commercial construction management or coordination experience
-
2+ years of land development permitting management or coordination
-
Project coordination skills are crucial
-
Notary public in Washington State, or ability to obtain
-
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
-
Responsible, well-organized, and extremely high attention to detail
-
Ability to exercise good judgement and demonstrate high standards of ethics
-
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, with dynamic priorities and deadlines and in collaboration with others
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
-
Valid Driver’s License
