Summary:

Job Description

The Developer - IT will be based in Chennai. It is an individual contributor role, responsible for design, development and implementation of all analytical solutions for the Finance Business users.

What a typical day looks like:

Develop MicroStrategy/SSRS reports for Finance IT.

Examine standard MicroStrategy/SSRS functionality to determine whether it can be used to improve processes. As needed, redesign and develop applications and functionality.

Creating solutions to address functional and logical needs in the Finance Data Warehouse.

Build ETL, reports and dashboards with strong problem-solving knowledge on Databases like Oracle,SQL Server & Snowflake.

Contribute to application development projects as assigned.

Developing Tableau dashboards for Finance community.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Proficient in SQL skills with the ability to understand relational data models.

Ability to tune and optimize applications for Optimal Data Load, Calculation and Query Performance.

Competency in cloud and .NET platforms is an added advantage.

Working experience on Data Warehouses.

Exhibit enthusiasm in learning new technologies.

Overall 3-5 years of experience in a developer role and a minimum of 2+ years of experience with MicroStrategy & Tableau.

Experience in ETL Tools – SSIS/Informatica

Experience in Reporting – SSRS/MSTR

Experience in Visualizations – Tableau

Experience in Databases - Oracle/MSSQL/Snowflake
