Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for a Developer - Exposure Management Platform to be part of making this happen.
Position Overview and Objective
 

The Arctic Wolf security operations platform ingests and processes upwards of 250 billion events a day from a wide variety of on-premise devices and cloud platforms. The security pipeline is a distributed system of loosely-coupled microservices that constitute our real-time analysis and threat detection systems. These services distill the incoming events into actionable intelligence that our Concierge Security Teams use to protect customers.
We are growing rapidly, with our data volume increasing ten-fold roughly every two years.  We are looking for experienced developers to join our pack and work with us to continuously evolve and expand the capabilities of our security platform. This particular role focuses on building components of our Managed Risk Platform.
Responsibilities
 

As a  Developer at Arctic Wolf, you will:
 

  • Deliver well-scoped backend features for real-time threat analysis services with minimal supervision.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain microservices as part of an agile engineering team.
  • Write clean, reliable production code with automated tests and clear handling of edge cases.
  • Deploy containerized services using CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and operational support for owned services.
  • Continuously learn, improve, and contribute to team engineering standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience shipping production-quality backend software.
  • Strong coding skills and a bias for simple, maintainable solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based services and deployments, preferably on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with Golang is preferred; Java or other backend experience is also valuable.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS is preferred.
  • Comfortable working on distributed systems or microservices, with guidance on larger design decisions.
  • Excited to work at the intersection of big data, cybersecurity, and real-time systems.

Security Requirements
